- Soybeans in Halifax county were scouted, and some yellowing was observed around the edges and tip of the leaves.
- Conclusion
- Insects we identified as potato leaf hoppers by Extension specialist in the field. Potato leafhoppers are small, wedge-shaped and pale green, with large white eyes. Potato leaf hoppers can cause hopper burn, where the edge of the plant looks as if it were burned.
