Abiotic
Background
Soybeans in Moore county were scouted and it was observed that 25% of the field was affected by blight and yellowing in random areas around the field. It's a wet location.
Conclusion
The cause of this damage was from abiotic factors. Common factors that affect soybeans include drought, waterlogging, nutrient deficiencies, soil compaction, and temperature extremes. The stem canker could be due to abiotic reasons, like mechanical injury.
