Herbicide injury

scouted Oct. 2, 2025

Scientific Name
Herbicide Injury
Background
Soybeans in Granville County were being scouted, and it was observed that in 35% of the field there were stunted plants and plants with malformed leaves. There was a suspicion of herbicide injury, and a sample was submitted to the PDIC for diagnosis.
Conclusion
Some of the leaves showed damage consistent with herbicide injury, possibly caused by dicamba. It's important to note that the PDIC does not conduct herbicide residue testing.
